Un-installation Directions
Before installing KIS2009 you must remove all AV products by using the Add/Remove Programs applet in the control panel. If you already installed KIS2009, please remove it using the KIS2009 removal tool in 1.A, and then follow the procedures in 1.B
If you have not yet installed KIS2009 then proceed to 1.B procedures.
1.A
Run Kavremover9.exe to ensure all components of Kaspersky AV is removed from the system.

1.B
Download and run the below programs to clean out the old antivirus application from your system. Please run them in this order, if the removal programs require a reboot, please reboot, and then pickup where you left off on the list of removal programs. Please note you will only need to run the removal tools for the applications you actually used to have installed on your system.
1) Norton_Removal_Tool.exe (Norton Removal Tool)
2) McafeeRemoval.exe (McAfee Removal Tool)
3) Scripten.exe (Scripting Update from Microsoft)
4) Regsupreme_Setup.exe (Trial software, install it, run it, run the repair process, then uninstall it.)
Once all of the respective application have been run, then reboot, and reinstall KIS2009.
Remember for remote support to be effective, we will need to have Disable external service control and Enable Self Defense unchecked under the settings, options in the Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 application.
